United States Postal Service Stamp News

The stamps feature the Black-capped chickadee (Poecile atricapillus), the Northern cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis), the Blue jay (Cyanocitta cristata) and the Red-bellied woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus).

The United States Postal Service recognizes America's First Responders by honoring firefighters, emergency medical personnel and law enforcement officers with a Forever Stamp. These brave men and women play a pivotal role in protecting and saving people's lives in every community that they remain our forever heroes.   

Anyone who has owned one of these knows just how crazy good these cars are. Hot Wheels! The U.S. Postal Service will feature some of Hot Wheels wicked looking cars with a total of 20 stamps arranged in diagonal rows as Forever stamps. Each stamp will feature a Hot Wheels car speeding on a bright orange race track that will surely bring many of your childhood memories both young and old. Dragons have been described as mythological creatures from the Northern Hemispheres of Europe to Southern Asia. In Southeast Asia alone, dragons are revered creatures that symbolize power, strength and good luck that inspired popular works of art, architecture, and folklore for thousands of years.   Among the Europeans, the dragon symbolizes dereliction and treachery along with hatred and rivalry.  The U.S. Postal Service celebrates the legendary dragons as an inspiration for bringing the imagination into real life in the form of stamps.
