Revell Germany - Vought F4U-1D Corsair 1:32

Regular price $62.00

The Vought Corsair was one of the most unusual but also most successful Navy aircraft of World War II. Feared by the Japanese opponent who nicknamed her the Whispering Death, she fought her way through the Pacific skies from 1943 to 1945, scoring record-breaking hits: 2140 counter-aircraft were destroyed at 189 own losses. The concentrated firepower of the Corsair consisted of six 12.7 mm Browning MGs. Her characteristic bent wings gave her a high recognition of the ground forces they called Sweetheart of Okinawa. The F4U-1A made the first construction lot with major changes, top speed 671km / h.
