Dansco Coin Albums have been a longtime companion for both expert numismatists and beginning coin collectors. The Bust Dime 1796-1837 Dansco Album comes in a 3/4" binder and holds up to 48 coins. The album has 4 Dansco pages (series: 6121-1 to 6121-4), each one holding and displaying all Draped and Capped Bust dimes minted from 1796-1837. Draped Bust dimes were coined from 1796-1807, and their reverse design was issued without any indication of their denomination. In 1809, John Reich redesigned the obverse and reverse for the 1809-1837 Capped Bust coin. The new design had seen the addition of the lettering "10C" on the reverse. All Bust dimes coins are made of 89.24% silver and 10.76% copper, each weighing 2.70 grams. Draped Bust dimes measure 19 mm in diameter. Capped Bust coins from 1809-1827 measure approximately 18.8 mm and the coins minted from 1828-1837 measure approximately 18.5 mm. All Bust dimes were coined at the Philadelphia Mint. Dansco Coin Albums have their pages attached with metal screws, making it easy to add and replace. Dansco#: 6121. Size: 3/4. Color: Brown. Sold Individually. Case Qty: 24 .
