AMT - Shell Oil Lockheed Vega 1:48

This offering from AMT presents a historic replica of the Lockheed Vega owned by the Shell Oil Company. It represents one of the four Vegas acquired by company vice-president and WWII hero, Jimmy Doolittle. The colorful decals supplied in the kit present a representation of the full Shell livery. Lockheed Vegas are iconic and were flown by such historic aviators as Doolittle, Amelia Earhart, and Wiley Post who flew his aircraft around the world on two occasions.
