The Sukhoi Su-34 (NATO reporting name ‘Fullback’) is the latest fighter-bomber developed from the prototype T10KM-2 of the Russian Air Force and Navy. The aircraft is planned to replace the old Su-24M Fencer and Su-25 Frogfoot. The Su-34 has a larger fuselage and longer tail than the Su-27/30 series and a bigger head which contains a newly designed seat-by-seat cockpit with a pair of canards like the Su-33. The Su-34 can carry two extra fuel tanks under the wing, the ferry range is up to 4,000 km, and the aircraft can carry all kinds of the latest guided and unguided air-to-surface weapons of Russia.
