Tonga Lot
Tonga is a Polynesian archipelago in the South Pacific, where coral islands and volcanic landscapes meet a warm tropical climate. Its predominantly Tongan population speaks Tongan and English, with community life shaped by extended families, Christianity, and enduring cultural traditions. The country is a constitutional monarchy and was never formally colonized, although it became a British protected state before regaining full independence in 1970. King George Tupou I helped unite the islands and established Tonga’s constitution in 1875.
