The Black Shark helicopter carries the Nato codename Hokum. Ka-50 is also known as Werewolf. It is a high-performance combat helicopter with day and night capability, high survivability and fire power to defeat air targets and heavily armored tanks armed with air defense weapons. It entered service with the Russian Army in 1995.
