Vikings were ship-born warriors from Scandinavia and in the late 8th century they raided the coastal lands of Europe and founded their settlements. Their expansion in the 8th to 11th centuries led historians to call it the Viking Age. They formed troops and made long sea voyages to raid England, Ireland, France, Northern Germany, the Iberian Peninsula and Southern Italy. They even penetrated into Byzantium and Eastern Europe. Pieces are suitable for use with the Zvezda Age of Battles expandable board game.
