The F-106B is the two-seat combat-capable training version of the Delta Dart.Due to the extra seat, the fuselage is actually better area ruled; combined with a likely reduction in weight.The construction of the former weapon bay and the door were also adjusted for the longer cockpit.63 of this two-seat version were built.
