Academy - F-4F Wildcat USN 1:72

This is a 1/72 scale MRC/Academy plastic model kit. The Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat was considered the most modern fighter in the U.S. Navy in 1941. General Motors built the Wildcats after the middle of 1943. The Wildcat had a top speed of 320 mph at 18,800 feet. This kit enables the modeler to finish the Wildcat in the unique gray and white Sea Search color scheme used by patroling Wildcats in search of enemy shipping. The model contains fully engraved panel lines and rivet detail, pilot figure in the cockpit, optional position landing gear, optional fuel tanks, decals, paint instructions, and a display stand.
