First prototypes of Leopard 2 were completed between 1972 and 1974 and the first production vehicles were completed in 1979. Leopard 2 A5 is an upgrade of the earlier Leopard 2 with many improvements including additional armor and a fire control system. Main armament: 120mm smoothbore gun Sub Armament: 7.62mm Coaxial MG & 7.62mm Anti-Aircraft MG.
