ROSWELL, NM — The U.S. Postal Service today kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct.15) with new festive Piñatas! stamps at the 36th Annual Piñata Festival. These Forever stamps come in four designs — two donkeys and two seven-pointed stars — celebrating the traditional Mexican fiesta favorite. PORTLAND, CT — The U.S. Postal Service today issued four new Presorted First-Class Mail stamps featuring striking photographs of bridges. The structures range from modern to historic, pedestrian to car-carrying, and all are important landmarks in their communities. The Bridges stamps are intended for business mail users and are sold in self-adhesive coils of 3,000 and 10,000. CLEVELAND — A dedication ceremony for Life Magnified stamps was held today in partnership with the American Philatelic Society at the Great American Stamp Show in Cleveland. The 20 stamps feature otherworldly images of some of the smallest components of life as we know it. “Usually, we shrink images to fit on a postage stamp.
