The U.S. Postal Service has dedicated a new series of Forever stamps featuring picturesque dahlias at the WESTPEX Stamp Show. These stamps showcase the vibrant colors and diversity of dahlias, which are part of the Asteraceae family and have a rich history dating back to their cultivation by the Aztecs in Mexico. The stamps, designed by Greg Breeding using photographs by Denise Ippolito, highlight the resurgence of dahlia popularity in gardening today.
