Ho Chi Minh Campaign - Mar 24, 1975

The 1975 spring offensive is the culmination of the North Vietnamese military struggle to take control of Saigon that ended in the defeat of the American-supported South Vietnamese government. Approximately, 38,000 lives were lost and around 1.1 million people surrendered or were captured in the war campaign. Since the end of the Vietnam war, there has been much discussion and allegations to the dramatic fall out from the Vietnam war that resulted in millions of people dead including an estimated 58,000 US troops that fought alongside the South Vietnamese military.
