The Rolling Stones 60th Anniversary Stamps

As Paul Revere discreetly shouted, "The British are coming!" after learning the British were hiding in the Massachusetts countryside, the popular phrase has for centuries been an afterthought for many generations of Americans mindful of the British influence on American culture and way of life. And as much as Paul Revere has become known to be a legend, another known legend in the likes of the Rolling Stones, an English rock band from London is making waves among fans and stamp collectors alike.

On January 20, the Royal Mail will be issuing the Rolling Stones stamps to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the rock band's creation in 1962. The rock bands lead singers like Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Woods, and other past members have become so much a part of American music that their life and contributions to Rock and Roll music have earned them the title of "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World" by fans all across the different genre of music.

The Rolling Stones stamps will feature images from some of their most famous music concerts over the years which include their earliest performance on July 5, 1969, at the London Hyde Park, two days after the death of founding member Brian Jones.

If you're looking to own one of music's iconic Rock and Roll band, you can be a part of that era on January 20 from the Royal Mail
