The Great American Stamp Show
The Great American Stamp Show is an annual philatelic convention that will be held from August 14-17 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. Co-hosted by the American Philatelic Society, American Topical Association, and American First Day Cover Society, the event is free and open to the public. Attendees can visit from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
This year’s show features a bourse with over 75 dealers from both the United States and abroad offering stamps, postal history, and related supplies. Additionally, there will be a cachetmakers’ bourse and more than 800 frames of competitive exhibits for attendees to explore. Collectors can also participate in meetings and seminars that cover a variety of topics relevant to philately.
